Steamy Good Time!
Top hats, Browncoats, goggles and corsets. Pocket watches and gadgets galore. Tesla coils, lightbulbs, metal trinkets, and all manner of electrifying fun. This month’s Grind theme is STEAMPUNK! Whether your view of steampunk is based more on alternative British Victorian England or The American “Wild Wild West”, come on out in your most (or least!) fancy steampunk attire.
Come enjoy our Violet Wand demo station run by volunteers from The Freyja Project so you can get a bit of first hand experience with electricity play. Ask questions, witness others enjoying their first (or fiftieth) zap from a wand, and even try out the sensations yourself with a variety of different accessories and implements.
During the evening, there will be a version of “Operation” in steampunk style hosted by its creator, TheLord! Offer yourself or the one you love for a purely elective “operation” that is sure to be shocking! Perhaps there will even be a surprise or two in store…
Whether you don your petticoats and parasols or you prefer to keep it simple in garters & thigh high stockings (and little else), join us for tea and biscuits in the social area as you converse with other ladies and gentlemen who are out for an evening of steampunk mischief and merriment.
The Studio will be decked out for all the steampunk fun, please feel free to come on in and have Mr. Nitz capture your finery during the event from 8pm-11pm
